Over the past two years, people in Gaza have been killed, injured, starved, besieged, stripped of their dignity, and buried beneath the rubble of their homes.
In this 12-minute video, we look back through MSF footage gathered by our teams as we treated the wounded and kept hospitals running during the ongoing genocide.
Since 7 October 2023, according to the Ministry of Health, Israeli forces have killed more than 66,000 people, over 18,000 of these are children, and a further 168,000 people have been injured. An estimated 44,000 children are now orphaned.
The cycle of repeated forced displacement, which is hidden under the term of evacuation orders, is endless. Gazans are continuously confined to ever-smaller areas, while being relentlessly bombed and are forced to live in inhumane conditions.
Over 1,700 healthcare workers have been killed since October 2023, and attacks on healthcare continue. As a result, healthcare in Gaza has been decimated.
Fifteen MSF colleagues have been killed, and our teams have been forced to leave around 20 facilities and hospitals.
Our teams continue to support those in need, but doctors cannot stop genocide. World leaders can.

MSF and the Gaza genocide
We are witnessing Israel commit genocide in Gaza.
MSF teams have seen firsthand the campaign of ethnic cleansing of Palestinians being pursued by the Israeli military in Gaza. The UK Government is complicit in these atrocities.
Our staff have worked to treat the wounded and supply overwhelmed hospitals as indiscriminate attacks and a state of siege threaten millions of men, women and children.
