Gaza: "It's like nothing I've seen before," MSF doctor tells CNN and ITV News
When MSF doctor Javid Abdelmoneim returned from the war in Gaza, he wanted to speak out.
He is an emergency medicine specialist and veteran Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) medical team leader, having carried out 13 assignments including many in active conflict zones. As an NHS A+E doctor, he worked through two London terror attacks.
But, despite this experience, Javid says nothing prepared him for the scale of suffering he encountered while working at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. Here, families are facing the brunt of a relentless and extremely violent conflict.
In two high-profile interviews with CNN (above) and ITV News, he shares his powerful and deeply personal report from the heart of this humanitarian crisis.
