The ride
The ride that changed me
"I was a part time cyclist, getting out for short trips on the weekend… I decided to enter London to Brighton in memory of my Uncle Liam. I asked my auntie Mandy to choose the charity on Liam's behalf and she felt they both had an affiliation to the MSF cause. A lot of hard work and training went into London to Brighton, but it has honestly changed me. I've lost 15kg and have genuine love for the sport… I owe Liam a lot for giving me the motivation and courage to achieve it. When I finished I was informed I was MSF's highest fundraiser that year, which brought a tear to my eye."
— Laurence Millar, London to Brighton 2025
