How can my donation help?

You will be helping our medical and logistics teams working around the clock to reach people affected by:

  • Physical violence and war
  • Food insecurity and famine
  • Infectious disease outbreaks such as Ebola, measles and cholera
  • Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and tsunamis
  • Sexual and gender-based violence

We perform life-saving surgery in conflict zones and care for survivors caught in natural disasters. Logistics teams ensure that our doctors and nurses on the ground have exactly the tools they need, from field hospitals to temperature-controlled medications.

And it's thanks to your donation that our teams have what they need to act fast.

You will be supporting people like...

Dr Sally Pearson

MSF doctor treating Ebola in the DRC

“An Ebola response runs on trust. As a medic you trust your colleague with your life, as they ensure that your personal protective equipment is on properly. Our patients are trusting us to do everything we can to help them survive.

And our donors are trusting us with the money we need to make this happen.”

“When it gets to the patient care and the surgery, it's like going into another universe, another reality.

Basically, everything around shuts down, and you see only the patient and the operation field that's in front of you. You don't think about anything else during that time.”

"Despite the ceasefire, we still see people with malnutrition coming to our clinics. Many factors have led to this situation, but the main one is security: people are not safe and they've been displaced time and again. They lost everything: houses, belongings, food."

  • Maternal and baby health
  • Mental health care
  • Water and sanitation

Since 1971, we have been treating people caught in complex crises and chronic healthcare emergencies around the world.

How we spend your money

As an MSF donor, you can feel confident that we will use your money in a responsible, effective, and innovative way.

We're funded through the generosity of individuals, not governments. This independence means that decisions on where to work are based on medical needs alone.

So, across more than 70 countries, including conflict zones, epidemics and natural disasters, we work hard to make sure that your donation is spent in an efficient way that ultimately saves lives.
